*As pointed out by RazorPriest, the cost of upgrades always continues to rise as you purchase new upgrades. Unfortunately, I am unaware of a fix for this problem at this time and will post updates or solutions if people find one. As Mario Allstar says, this is at your own risk, as the amulet costs will rise considerably (exponentially) and you may run out of gold before being able to get the upgrades to finish the achievement.Ī couple people have had their progress reset. MrZombieChicken said it did not work at all, while Mario Allstar had approximately a 50% success rate for it. The success rate is not necessarily 100% for this tip.

Obviously, this is limited strictly by how much gold you are holding, as both the upgrade and amulet costs continue to rise, but it can help get a few upgrades quickly if you have the gold currently. Then, if you die quickly again, you could repeat the same process again. When you die and use the amulet, you can buy an amulet and upgrade.
